Air quality; it affects each of us, whether we recognize it or not. It impacts some more than others, and through this impact, I saw a need for a tool that would enable those who are readily affected by air quality to monitor levels easily.
Get to the action quickly. It shouldn’t be difficult to get what you need from an app. I wanted the user to be able to dive right in, with minimal setup and an uncomplicated design. All necessary information is readily available, while maintaining a straightforward functionality.
The color scheme was derived from the current EPA air quality ratings, and creates a system by which users can quickly identify air quality safety at a glance.
